The Haunted Air by F. Paul Wilson

I’ve already talked about how I’m rereading this series.  This is a very typical Jack the Repairman novel.  Two mysteries for Jack to solve and repair are included in the plot.  What seems like a straight-forward case of sabotage by a competitor turns out to have a supernatural twist.  In the other subplot, a mystery man asks Jack to keep the mystery man’s brother from harming anyone else.  Of course it’s not a simple babysitting job–it involves many people who have harmed people over centuries.  Finally, Jack is told by the love of his life that he’ll have to give up his invisible existence and find a way to become a citizen–he’s going to be a father.  Marching onward in this series!
