Tracie was adopted by her parents as a little girl in Vietnam. Until recently, she’s been quite content with her family. Now she’s having flashbacks she doesn’t understand, and finding that her father has a hidden past in Vietnam. She feels driven to put the pieces together, but her father is getting angrier at her interference and she may lose her best friend over the quest. It was an okay book, but other than me, I’m not sure what niche this fits for kids. It didn’t really have enough info on the Vietnam War to really hit that area, and with a female protagonist, I’m not sure guys would get into it.
