Crunch Time by Diane Mott Davidson

For some reason, I am addicted to this series.  How on earth a caterer in a Denver suburb runs into so many dead people, I can’t imagine.  And her husband, an investigator on the sheriff’s department, seems to allow a lot of latitude for her investigations.  But the hardest stretch of all is that she actually ENJOYS cooking–pretty incredible stuff.  I have yet to try one of the recipes included in the books, but most sound pretty good.  The mysteries are like rafting down a slow river–it’s interesting seeing the scenery and wildlife, sometimes there are some twists and turns and even a mild rapid or two.  This one, as usual, was worth the ride.
