Great book!

The Great Divide by T. Davis Bunn

A girl is missing in China, where she had traveled to expose horrendous labor conditions.  Her parents hire attorney Marcus Glenwood, a formerly successful lawyer who has lost everything, to fight the large company holding responsibility for the disappearance.

I’ll definitely be hunting down more books about Marcus Glenwood, because this was a page-turner.  The twists are not generally predictable, but I didn’t have to think too hard!  The storyline about China is particularly timely, as my family has been having many discussions about how much of what we purchase is made in China.  And of course, it has the murder-mystery element I love.
